DIVISIONS OF PLAY

ROOKIE LEAGUE BASEBALL

Typical Ages: 8-9 (Quad Cities League)

Field Type: Youth (46' Mound, 60' Bases)

Game Length: 90 Minutes

Gameplay: Combination Player & Coach Pitch (No Walks), No Leading, Stealing Allowed With Restrictions

9U Tournament Team Option

INTRO LEAGUE BASEBALL

Typical Ages: 6-7

Field Type: Youth (46' Mound, 60' Bases)

Game Length: 15 Minute Practice/Skills Session Followed By 45 Minute Game

Gameplay: Pitching Machine (Players Work On Pitching Development Late In Season), No Leading, No Stealing

TEE BALL

Typical Ages: 4-5

Field Type: Youth (46' Mound, 60' Bases)

Game Length: 15 Minute Practice/Skills Session Followed By 45 Minute Game

Gameplay: Combination Coach Pitch & Tee, No Leading, No Stealing

Note: The age assignments listed above are for guideline use. If families have players they would like to see play in a higher or lower division than their age suggests, the Western Duluth Little League Board Of Directors will review petitions for approval in the best interests of the organization and family alike.

 
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Contingent upon the weather, practices will likely begin late April/early May. Games will begin in late May/early June and run through the first week in August.

Rookie League: Tuesdays & Thursdays

Intro League: Tuesdays & Thursdays

Tee Ball: Mondays & Wednesdays

Additional practices are scheduled on a team-by-team basis during the week.
